Came to this a bit late, especially for the date of Mithras's birthday - 25th December of course. But hey, what's a few days compared to several millennia?
I like the mix of modern interpretation along with the ancient stones from a Mithraeum, and the expression of willing self sacrifice.

This woman also misses the point, when she tries to convince anyone that there is a "usefulness" hidden behind killing this nonhuman animal, that she tries to pervertly even so tear out of the anonymity of the breeding, farming and slaughterhouse machinery: that veganism is spearheading in the other direction, for reasons that affect humans inasmuch as nonhuman animals, such as this animal, and our environment.

Also, that she wants to show, in a abnormally brutal way, how "useful" killing the nonhuman animal who she calls "PIG 05049" is, is ethically non-arts, because if this was art, then any form of killing that could be seen as useful and that would be described as such by the murderer, could be classified as arts if the artist just wants that to be so.

She draws her distiction in terms of whether you are dealing with a nonhuman animal or humans in an arbitraty yet inexplicit way; from an animal rights point of view it's as wrong to kill a nonhuman animal as it is to kill a human, if you can avoid it and if you don't have to kill in self defence.

The ill advised argumentation that you practically can't live vegan today, doesn't change anything about the nature of evilness that is being practised here under the disguise of an "artistic freedom".

And the argument that meat has been consumed in the past hundereds of years (and for millenia) can't be held against the goals veganism heralds to eliminate the usage of animals as chattel.

Artistic freedom has boundaries, and we set them.
